I just got off the NA and the week before was on the Zuiderdam and just before that was on the Koningsdam. In my opinion NA entertainment was much better than the Zuiderdam, but not as good as the Koningsdam.

We were on NA in November. BB Kings was great. The only theater shows we attended were the two production shows, which were okay. The band in Ocean Bar attracted only two dancing couples all week -- nothing like the trios of years ago that pulled in dozens of dancers.

Was on the na dec4-11. I thought the entertainment was good. Bb king band was the most popular. Lots of people dancing whole time. Night club was dead. There was a movie every day. Ranging from a Movie about the Obamas first date to the new ghostbusters. The stage shows were the usual stage musicals with dancing and singing. I thought they were entertaining. There was also a magic, comedy, and high energy piano show the other nights on the stage. I was personally entertained every night. I'm sure these shows are not like Disney or Royal Caribbean shows on the allure/anthem but you will be entertained for the night.

No surprise that the entertainment scales up with the size of the ship.

No BB King Blues Club on most of the the smaller ships.

Regarding the Ocean Bar dance bands:

older Filipino bands >> jazzy trios >> The B(l)and

Especially good is the Ashley Wey Trio, often performing on the Maasdam.

I agree! We were on the same cruise and thought the entertainment was much better than the previous time we sailed on HAL on the Eurodam. The stage musical/dance shows were ok, but I thought the other entertainment was standout. BB King's was great! Also really enjoyed the pianist Ryan Ahern and the magician/illusionist. The comedian was good too! Saw quite a few people enjoying the piano/violin duo every night in one of the bar/lounge areas on the way to the casino and showroom. They sounded lovely. I spent a lot of the rest of the evening time in the casino, and I agree the nightclub was dead. Most I ever saw in there was 6 people!
