Hi all, the Nieuw Amsterdam should show up soon on the PE camera as we are getting ready to enter the channel soon. I will be in the air flying home when they sail out today, but I hope you have an enjoyable sailaway. Another great trip on Holland America. I just hate to think about having to go back to my own cooking and having no one to clean up after me. Just passing the beach now.

Going back to reality is a real bummer!:(

Watching NA backing into position. Glad you had a good time.

One of the Goodyear blimps is sailing past the harbor as we back in. They move a lot faster than I realized. From 21 we get a nice view of the Behemoth. It kind of looks like the condos when you pass them, only bigger. Well maybe not quite as tall, but definitely bigger. Beautiful day here this morning. You should have a great sailaway today if the weather holds out.

Thank you for the reminder. That's noon my time, and I'll try to pop in for a bit. Looks like I'll be sharing Half Moon Cay with the Nieuw Amsterdam on Friday.

Oops! Moved time the wrong way, that's 8PM (and the show my time, not noon.

I was wondering if you were here with us on the west coast, Roy! But just where are you, anyway?:D

BTW, fabulous picture on the Maho Beach cam. Well done, PTZ!

I'm on the Prinsendam, about 600 miles west of Funchal, Portugal and 2000 miles east of Half Moon Cay.

16 weeks today until I board Nieuw Amsterdam. It'll go quick - right?

I'm down to less than 8 weeks and the weeks are zooming by. When I first put up my countdown clock (570-some days), it seemed to really drag. You'll be on her in no time!:D

Agree, I find the last few weeks fly by as there is stuff to do to prep to go.

You have a lot of prepping with your World Cruise

so nice of you to host the sail a ways while you are getting ready for your voyage :)
