Our Day on Oahu - A review

Earlier this year we were lucky enough to sail to the Hawaiian Islands onboard the Star Princess and while we had visited Oahu on many previous occasions we planned to spend our day in a way we hadn't before.

That plan took us on a visit to the Aloha Tower...

I have written a full review on my cruise blog which contains over 50 photographs taken on our journey. Here is the link if you'd like to read it...

Sadly the Aloha tower is pretty much a dump these days. I was there about 10 years ago and the area around it full of shops restaurants and such.....fast forward to last June and I was amazed at how run down the whole area was. Empty shops and I was up in the tower for about 30 min and I was the only one there the whole time.
