Blue Chip Club Invitation Mailer

Received a You're Invited [but am not currently a BC member].

We have spent Plenty o'Bucks in the past while on board and would have preferred at any time before now for a CH to say hey you guys...

So the mailer talks about VIP tournaments and a Free Tournament Entry and a BC Discount on the select sailings.

What should I make of this, just another marketing approach for a guest who has had casino rewards cards for sailings that are now hurting?

Your last sentence summed it up nicely....

We have been Blue Chip members for about 10 years. They keep changing the program every 2 or 3 years but we have had 5 "free" cruises with them and it was definitely worth it. The down side is that the free drink package is only available at the casino bar during casino open hours. Last year we didn't cruise due to unforeseen circumstances and they expired our Amethyst status so it's back to paying our own way but at least we can get a beverage package that is good anywhere on the ship.
