Pics of Sofa Bed on Regal

Hi, I had asked for pics of the sofa bed in the MS on Regal prior to our cruise and no one ever posted. Just wanted to add so future cruisers understand how it works. I slept on it and I LIKE it much better. It basically just flips over. First, it's not "short" as I found the older ones to be, and second it does not block the access to the balcony. I tried to upload 4 photos but only two were successful. I may post an additional photo after I'm able to see what uploaded.

Is it comfortable to sit on?

Yes, I truly wish my other 2 photos would post and I have tried over and over. It a sofa, like any sofa, and then flips over 180 degrees to a bed.

The problem may be the file size of the photos. CC is very limiting on attachments, so you may have to reduce the picture size before trying to upload. They do not have good messages about the reason for failure.

Thanks for sharing this. We're gonna be on the Regal next week in a Mini-suite.. We have 3 adults, my DH & I in the queen an my momma plans to take the sofa bed, we knew the over head bunk wasn't a option for our group. So I'm relieved to hear it is a comfortable & she won't feel like it's a downgrade..

We are look at this option for a cruise next march with our 2 kids. Our son is 16 years old and 6'2" already. Would the sofa bed be ok for him?

Hi if you use Facebook, gobto the Facebook page of princess closed group and someone has recently posted photos of sofa bed both open and closed. They are on regal at the moment and happy with sofa bed. Hope this helps

Apologies I know it is a very long time since you posted, I just had a question for you about these sofa beds. When you say it flips 180 does that mean under the sofa cushions (when it is a sofa) there is basically a metal frame? Is this a comfortable sofa to sit on even with the metal frame underneath?

I’m not sure which sofa bed you are referring to, but here is a photo of my mom laying down on the folded out sofa bed in a Royal Princess suite. (Sister ship) She is 5’6”

The suites have a 2 seater sofa with the "double" pullout.  
 

The MiniSuites (original poster) have a 3 seater sofa with the single bed inside.
