Disembark in Amsterdam Question

Hello,

We will be on the Marina Baltic cruise in July, disembarking in Amsterdam. The schedule says we disembark at 8am.

We will be staying in Amsterdam for 3 days, I already have a hotel booked about 20 minutes from the cruise terminal.

My question is, how long does it take to disembark from the Marina? Would we be able to make it to our hotel, drop off our luggage, then to a walking tour at 10am?

I am just trying to gauge how much time the process takes so I can plan our touring activities on our first day in Amsterdam.

Thanks!

My guess is that you should be able to do so. You can leave very early if you wish (especially if you haul your own luggage). People like us tend to wait until the last possible minute to leave the ship so you shouldn't have a huge crowd trying to leave at the same time. Admittedly, it's easier to leave from one of the "R" ships so many fewer passengers.

I'd leave as soon as I could, find a cab and drop the bags at the hotel. Then head for the tour.
