Princess transfer to Whittier

We are staying overnight in Anchorage and have to return our car to the airport. How early should we get to the airport to be able to take the first bus to Whittier? And about what time does the first bus arrive at the pier?

Have you considered not doing this thru Princess as you do have other choices?

The first people are on the ship around 1pm, so I'm assuming the first transfer leaves around 10:30 or so. I would arrive early and take a glacier cruise in the afternoon if at all possible. There's not much to do in Whittier, other than the world's best shrimp and chips at the Saltwater Café.
