Brief review of Seaside

I sailed Seaside March 3rd through March 10th. Had a great cruise on the stunning ship. The shows were amazing, cruise staff that hosted activities and theme nights in the atrium & Haven Lounge were wonderful with lots of energy. Captain Massa also wonderful. I sailed with him and some of the cruise staff members on Divina previously.

Service was slow in the MDR (Seashore) especially trying to get water at dinner. It was no fault of the waiter as they seemed short staffed. Food was very good with generous portions .While on the subject of food, do not order waffles for breakfast int the MDR. They are listed as Belgium on the menu but were barely heated frozen waffles.

Lots of deck space near the pools, like most ships next to impossible to get a chair. I happened to be up at 6:30 one morning and saw the chair hogs out.

Hope future cruisers enjoy Seaside as much as I did.

I liked Captain Massa on the Divina too!

Thank you for the review. Luckily I don't eat waffles. :)

I’ve seen this about the waffles on another recent review. Pretty silly they can’t do something as cheap and easy as a good waffle when half the hotels in America let you make em fresh yourself.

Regardless...it won't make or break my cruise!! French Toast and Pancakes....will do just fine!

The pancakes are made fresh but the French toast is also frozen supermarket type stuff even in the YC. And they ran out of syrup by the end of the week.

They have plenty of other good things though so no worry!

I didn't realize the French toast was frozen. I liked it in the buffet.
