I hope someone can answer this question. My dh and I were on the Gem a few years back. Love the ship & the staff. My problem was the bathroom. We had a balcony. The toilet area of the bathroom was so tight, my dh knees could almost touch the wall. We are looking to book another cruise on the Gem. Are there different bathrooms in different balconies? How can I find info? Thank you.

I know what you mean about the small toilet "compartment." The bathroom of the mini-suite has more space between the toilet and the wall because it has a bathtub vs. just a smaller shower.

All the balcony cabins have the same bathroom except maybe a handicapped-accessible cabin.
