Ovation vs Anthem / Quantum Deck 7 Floor Plans

Is there a reason that a number of the balconies on deck 7 on ovation are listed as partially obstructed but is not the case on anthem or quantum?

Almost the entire mid-ship for deck 7 is listed as obstructed according to the deck plans. Im wondering as I'm considering switching into one of these 'obstructed view balconies' for my cruise.

yeah i understand but how come its not listed as obstructed on anthem/quantum on the same rooms

I have a Spa Junior Suite on deck 7 on Ovation and it doesn't say any obstruction. Is it the whole deck 7?

No. Look at the deck plans.

The odd little shadowy square means "obstructed".

The only suggestion I can offer is the ovation is set up different for higher capacity for tendering.

The obstruction would be miner,I would be more concerned with the smoking area.

Smoking areas are up on the pool deck,mid ship on the left side near the pool.

On the promenade deck on the right side toward the back that affects some off the cabins.

On the Anthem, the smoking area on deck 5 Royal Esplanade is enclosed with plexi-glass.

Can't recall if Quantum had similar enclosure. The area looks quite comfortable with padded seats and a view of the sea/ocean. Quite a few Pax at around the 6AM or earlier mark. Noticed when I did my morning walk/jog as the upper deck was too windy and chilly.
