Thoughts on Best Deck for Balcony Cabin on Quantum Of The Seas

We intend cruising on Quantum Of The Seas and will be getting an ocean view balcony cabin. We have the options of Decks 8 to 13, but have no idea which deck might be better as we have never been on this ship before. Any guidance would truly be appreciated.

I don't know Quantum but look at the deck plans and see what is above and below each deck/cabin you're looking at. My preference is to always have cabins above and below the cabin I'm staying in.

Thank you for replying. Why Deck 8 ... others have said 11. Just want a rounded perspective of the advantages.

Deck 8 is is above the obstructed deck 6 and still far enough bellow the main passenger decks so you get a great view and less noise.
