Reserving chairs in the Solarium - on the Jewel?

Are the lounge chairs in the Solarium first come, first serve? Or can you reserve them for a day or partial day? If the latter, how soon can this be done and what is the cost?

Ha ha. Don't put it past other passengers to do exactly that.

In my experience with 2 trips on Jewel, Chair hogging is less of a problem on Jewel because the solarium is indoors and many people want to spend time by the pool in the sun. My experience only, yours may vary.

If your ass is in the chair...it's yours. If your towel is in the chair, and you're not in the pool or bathroom....it's anyone's chair. You can't reserve loungers.

Love it !! That is my same thought! No one can expect to save chairs for any length of time while they are off doing something else. People will just move your towels and sit down.

Just off of the Jewel and chairs were always available in the solarium even on the sea day. Also for the 1st time, they opened the roof everyday we were in port.
