Most of time won't be too bad except when people getting on/off ship Port Days since you are close to Elevators/stairs. Still not bad, just voices, people out your window if porting on that side. If me I'd more, unless you would need the less walking physically...

I've always booked cabins as close to elevators as possible.

Never have I had a problem with noise.

I love deck 2 and have booked there several times. Super quiet low traffic area convenient to the heart of the ship activity in the Centrum on deck 4. Never have to walk the long halls if you don't want to since there are ways forward on the public decks.
