For Bonnie: Website issues with the new portal

Hi Bonnie,

This is a new one even for me.

Currently, my wife is logged into the new portal and is looking at the shore excursions for our Dec 1st cruise on the Pursuit.

When I try to log into the shore excursions for that cruise, I get totally ignored. I just get redirected back to the login page. The funny thing is that I can access the shore excursions for the Dec 22nd cruise. No problem there.

Has this problem been reported in the past? Is anyone aware of this?

My apologies for dumping this on you, but you have a great track record for getting to the bottom of things.

Some more information. I can now duplicate the problem with my account accessing the voyage planner, but my wife's account appears to hang. She uses an ipad.

Is it possible that the voyage planner is unable to handle a simultaneous login from two accounts on the same reservation id?

If yes, then the application should respond with an appropriate error message.

This all started with my wife asking me to spend 5 minutes looking into a "problem". Nothing is ever trivial with computers.....

Here’s what I’ve learned...

Voyage Planner has a security measure that only allows one user to be logged in at a time. You can’t both look at Voyage Planner for the same booking number on separate devices.

So it is not an issue with My Account.
