Zuiderdam dry dock?

Sailing on Zuiderdam T/A in April/May and hoping the Neptune Suites have been upgraded like the other ships (was just on Eurdodam). Mainly the new big screen TV over the couch instead of the small desk TV. Anyone know?

Not yet. Her drydock is this fall.

We sailed the Oosterdam right after the 'major' dry dock last April. We were seriously disappointed that Zuiderdam would not get them until fall. We loved the public space changes on the Oosterdam. We sail the Zuiderdam next week.

Grrr.... I'm jealous. We were booked on Zuiderdam for next week and had to cancel a while back. :( Hope you have a wonderful trip to the Canal!

That won't work. The maintainer generally starts a fresh thread every couple of months. You really need to do a search on "threads started by CJcruzer" to get the current list.

What kinds of upgrades/fixes can we expect with a Zuiderdam dry dock? We're thinking of booking for January or February 2018.

Just off the Oosterdam and Future Cruise Consultant told us Z is scheduled for Oct. 2017 and will be getting all the same upgrades others have gotten.

Same as what her younger sister Oosterdam received in April 2016 (and Westerdam will receive next month) with the exception of the 25 cabins on Deck 10 behind Crow’s Nest and the Retreat Cabanas on Deck 11 which ZUDM already received in April 2015.

She'll be getting LincolnCenter Stage in the forward part of the Explorers Lounge; “Billboard Onboard” incl.“Dueling pianos” instead of the Sports Bar and part of the Casino; a Casino Bar instead of the Piano Bar; the Gallery (Arts)Bar instead of the Northern Lights nightclub; the “MarketPlace” concept in the Lido Restaurant with new furnishings and carpet; Suite upgrades and improvements,incl. interactive TVs, newfurniture, modern fixtures and new carpeting; standard stateroom upgradewith wall-mounted flat TVs; and a Spa upgrade

also she is likely to get the new "EXC" reimagining of the Crow's nest, which will debut on Westerdam

we are sailing Zuiderdam on Oct 10th. I assume the dry dock is after that. We then sail again her again in Feb.so I suppose we will see the changes then. Looking forward to that.

I know that they have done it with their other ships, but I can't believe that in a 12 day span of time, they are able to complete their renovations.

I was on the Oosterdam right after the 'major' dry dock which added the extra cabins and retreat; and all the new bars / entertainment venues. Everything was done except the new retreat area which is not needed on the Zuiderdam. I loved the changes on the Oosterdam and seriously missed them on the Zuiderdam last month.

Thanks! We were just on the Zuiderdam earlier this year, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The NL concierges were great, as was the PG staff.

We've booked the Zuiderdam again next year, and are eagerly anticipating the upgrades, particularly in the Neptunes.

Interesting coincidence that we were on the Zdam in March 2015 (got off in Civitavechia), and will be again this October 10th. Was in a Neptune then, but not this time :(

Since the port on the 22nd is FLL, is the work being done there? I thought ship renos were done in Europe.

I believe Zuiderdam's dry dock is happening in Freeport Bahamas.

Anyone have any pictures of the Zuiderdam post dry dock? I am anxious to see if there were renovations to the Signature Suites.
