I had a Breeze Spa Cabin on the 12th deck before. I didn't like it. People were able to look down onto the balcony a little. There was a lot more motion up there than other decks. It was very noticeable that I was very high on the ship in regards to location .

I had a 12th floor balcony on Magic... people looking onto our balcony was never an issue, since the area above us was tall glass, and people couldn't look over, just out. And that being the case they couldn't see down enough to view our balcony- I tried it myself to test it... they could maybe see part of my railing, but that was it.

As for the rain- I agree that was a problem for us. We had a few squalls on our cruise and the balcony was off limits til the rain passed.

We also didn't find it too hot.

There was a lot of motion on that cruise and we found that at night we felt it more when we laid down, but most of the time it was just rocking us to sleep!

We did find the halls seemed to be quieter than we'd experienced on lower floors...
