As a small caveat or correction to something posted earlier, we sailed Harmony in April and we were told that they (at least on HOS) no longer offer free beer/wine throughout the day in the suite lounge except during the happy hour. We asked a couple times during the week and asked different bartenders each time, they kept telling us we needed a package or pay. There was still unlimited bottled water, canned soda, and fountain drinks throughout the day.

It's for all GS or higher but for some reason, I've also heard from others that they don't make it well known. We experienced the same thing on Harmony last August. We had to go asking for it, not the other way around. I do love that program though. So convenient.

Wow, that's another big change. First I've heard of this one.

We have sailed in a Grand Suite 3 times and for some reason had no clue that we had priority disembarkation. We lined up like everyone else. I wish I had known that.

That's odd, usually the Concierge tells guests about the available disembarkation options.

If I pay for a suite it is my responsibility to find out what all the perks are:). You have to have some buy in...no pun intended.

Our experience was that they had set departure times in the suite lounge for suite guests. You can choose from 7:30/8:30/9:30am. Basically, you meet them at the time that you choose and one of them will take you down and escort you all the way to customs. They have a pass to call the elevators and they will walk you (as a group) past any lines waiting to exit. I agree in that this was one of the best perks.

On explorer if denzil is the concierge he will give you his phone number and when you are ready to leave your suite just call him and he will meet you at the specified lift!!

Was it not listed in the Welcome letter you received when you boarded where they list all the suite perks?

The welcome letter doesn’t outline all perks, hence the forums like this are great

I just received my concierge letter for our Allure cruise next week. Beer wine and soft drinks are still offered from 11-11.

Hadn't heard that either. Wow, Royal is supposedly upping their game for suites and here they cut the suites benefits?

We are traveling on Harmony with my mother in law who has a grand suite. (sky class) Does anyone know for sure if we could get priority disembarkation with her since we are all driving together? Also, what breakfast is available the last day? Are suite guests allowed room service??

Thank you for the help!!

Since you are driving, and more flexible with disembarktion. I don't see why you couldn't go with mother in law.

Think an elevator full of people, for any given time slot. So maybe for a more popular time slot there wouldn't be room. Speak with the concierge at end of week.

Another option is has mother in law print extra luggage tags. You bring your luggage to her room. Luggage goes suite first. She suite disembark, and you self disembark. You all meet at luggage

Hello Ken....I did call RC as you suggested. It took until now to sort things out. I was told in the beginning I was never charged for room service because my statement says"STATEROOM SERVICE", not room service. This fee I was told, was being charged for drinks ordered and delivered to my cabin. I explained I had a drink package and could get my drinks anywhere at anytime, therefore, I NEVER ordered or needed to order drinks to be sent to my cabin. He, insisted that he was right, so I dug in my heals and we went round for round. I explained every time I ordered room service, (the chicken noodle soup, hot wings and salad were GREAT) this STATEROOM SERVICE charge showed up. What a coincidence!!! He finally said he would contact the ship for verification as to what I was saying. After 4-5 days of no response I called back and spoke with another rep who assured me the first guy indeed was waiting for a response from the ship as he could see his notes. The issue is the billing statements have changed and have been streamlined. They no longer use the term ROOM SERVICE, they currently use STATEROOM SERVICE which the first guy was unaware of. This is a new change to become effective fleet wide very soon. That is what caused the problem and why when I asked Guest Services while still on the ship they didn't know either....Bottom line I was refunded all 6 room service, uhhhh stateroom service charges...GRAND SUITES DO NOT pay for items delivered off the room service menu....THANK YOU for your help :hearteyes:

It must vary from ship to ship. Our concierge letter did mention a wide array fornpyrchase in the lounge, but only mentioned complimentary during the happy hour times. This is directly from our letter.

“· Bar service is available from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm in the Suite Lounge, serving a wide array of beverages for purchase”

I’m sailing on Oasis in August. Does anyone know if it continues to offer 11am-11pm complimentary beer wine soft drinks and Water? The changes are concerning me 😃

Far as I know, it's still the same.
