Allianz - 2 hour wait for a sales rep, no one available to take my payment

Called Allianz to book a policy, was told it might be 2 hours before someone could call me. Not impressed. If they can't help me now, will they be available to help me if I have a real problem?

 

I talked to AIG today. They were helpful when I had several questions about a quote. Maybe AIG will get my business. The policies are similar but AIG has accidental death and dismemberment coverage which isn't availalbe on the Allianz policy.

Never, ever had that problem with Allianz. Used them many times.

 

I ended up going with Allianz. DH wanted a cheaper policy. I suspect the wait might have been a sales rep who wanted to keep the commission for himself.
