Diamond missed the big NZ storm 6 jan

Diamond Princess is cruising the NZ Fiords today in great weather . Looks like they have dodged the big storm that blew down all the way across the Tasman Sea from Queensland and battered hit NZ.Lets hope it is fine again tomorrow down there for Ovation..

The ship must have updated their bridge cam as the pics coming through today are crystal clear....up to now they have all been dull and grey.

Wellington had 120kph winds overnight. My daughter and her family flew home today. She, her husband and their very young children got out of bed at 2.45am to get dressed etc, return their rental car and get to the airport for their 7.30ish flight. It was delayed 2 hours 16 minutes. :( Anyway, they got home safely. :D

I picked them up at Brisbane airport. Little 'miss 3 year old' was asleep in the car in minutes. Her younger sister was still bright-eyed when we got to their home. I suggested that my daughter and her husband might have to have a sleep this afternoon in shifts.
