Is the Blu restaurant mentioned in this diary also available for anyone or does this ship have different dining rooms based on your cabin class? (I assume the Luminae is just for Penthouse inhabitants.) From reading this do I assume that just the MDR and the Ocean View Cafe & Grille are the only restaurants available to all without upcharge.

Luminaire is restricted to suite guests. Blu is restricted to Aqua Class Guests Concierge guests have a special perk of dining in the MDR for lunch on embarkation day. The MDR is closed to everyone else on embarkation day. MDR , Oceanview café have no upcharge although apparently there are some optional upcharge items appearing in the MDR on some ships.

As mentioned, Luminae is for all Suite guests and Blu is for all Aqua guests - Suite guests can dine there at no charge on a space available basis. Apart from the MDR and the OV, the Aqua Spa Cafe is also available without extra charge. It is not open for dinner though. There is no longer a Bistro on 5 - that has been changed to Sushi on 5. I much prefer the old incarnation as we enjoyed the crepes and shakes. :)

Thank you for that great review. It was very informative.

Hope you recover well.

Thank you for your kind words - have finally recovered but am missing the ship with fondness. It was one of our most enjoyable cruises to date!

Thank you for sharing your review. We sail on her in Sept round the Adriatic and Med and new to Celebrity so was nice to get a feel for the ship.

You are most welcome - I think you will find lots to like about her. :)

Thank you so much!

I just wish there was somewhere on their website detailing different classes of service...does anyone know where this is explained? (I never experienced this before on Seabourn, Oceania, or Viking Sea....I guess I should have researched this better before committing but I didn't know where).

I'm so glad that you all had such a lovely time - we fly out to Singapore on Wednesday and jump on the ship next Sunday. We're really looking forward to it and your diary has helped to build the excitement - thank you 😊

Go to the Celebrity website and click on on board experience / restaurants and cafes. It clearly spells out what each restaurant and café are for and who has access to them

I understand that if you have refundable obc on your account you can get the cash from guest services on the final evening

Our experience on the Constellation last year:

Guest services would process a refund to your credit card for the REFUNDABLE obc.

The Casino would process a cash refund (5% surcharge) for the REFUNDABLE obc.

FWIW that was our experience.

Hi Bertrande, can I ask a silly question can you dine in luminaire for example but order off the MDR menu? Thanks

Hi Sarah- We were on the Reflection last year and ate in Luminae most meals. They readily brought a MDR menu if asked and I did order off it once or twice.
