Brilliance dining question

Im thinking of buying the bogo dining for upcoming Brilliance cruise. Since Brilliance has Chops, Giovanni, Chefs Table and Izumi...should I assume I will be getting Chops and Giovanni’s? Also, I did MTD for other nights and had to pre-pay gratuities. Am I expected to tip in Specialty restaurant?

You no longer have to prepay gratuities if you opt for My Time Dining.

Specialty restaurants now have 18% added to the cost to cover gratuity.

I'm getting the impression that the 18% is not being added to pre-cruise dining bookings. I expect this will change at some point. Onboard, they will likely give you a receipt so you can add gratuity.

I’m not trying to picky, but I booked my cruise last fall and pre-paid gratuity already. You think they will charge me for gratuity, again at specialty? Even if I book the specialty and pay before I cruise? Just curious...

Your prepaid gratuity only covers dining staff in the main dining room and Windjammer, and your stateroom attendant and helpers.
