Port Douglas Hotel

We're going to be staying for a few days after cruise in Port Douglas. Can anyone recommend a hotel, apt or home (VRBO)?

We've stayed at the Meridian a number of times. It's one block from the main shopping street, a couple of blocks from the beach, and a easy walk to the Marina. Lovely apartments.

Agree with previous poster about Meridian but our current favourite is Peninsula Boutique Hotel. Great position on The Esplanade opposite Four Mile Beach. Also walking distance to all Port Douglas has to offer.

We LOVE Mandalay Apartments and have stayed numerous times. Fantastic location, beautiful apartments and wonderful people.

Ah yes, you'll definitely need something bigger :) There is a lot to chose from. Hit Salsa for lunch or dinner one night and Hemmingways for a beer. Can't wait to get back there

If you’re looking for something special oak beach cottage or one of the other villas directly on Oak Beach is highly recommended. It’s about 10/15 minutes drive from Port Douglas.
