Veendam self serve laundry question.

Last year on the Voyage of the Vikings cruise on the Rotterdam the self serve laundry machines would only use dispensed soap that the ship had in the machine. Could not use your own soap. In 3 weeks we will be on the Veendam for 49 days and will sometimes use the self serve laundry. Question; Does anyone know if the Veendam machines dispense the ships soap or can you use your own? Don't want to pack our soap if we can not use it.

I'm quite sure that any self serve laundry on any HAL ship utilizes their own soap due to the environmental regulations. I wouldn't bother packing any soap. But you might want to consider packing dryer sheets...

For other Kanucks reading this. That is $2 in American quarters. Do not try to use Canadian Twoonies and Loonies.
