Veendam Oasis ?

Looking at a Fall trip on the Veendam. Could someone explain the Oasis area. I understand it is for teens but doubt there would be teens on a cruise through New England during late September. Would that area be closed or open to others?

On the Veendam this past holiday 2017-2018 trip to Cuba - no problems, nice ship, smaller and older. Oasis is closed even when no teens onboard. Plenty of other outdoor deck areas to enjoy.

Why is the Oasis closed? Will be on the ship in August.
