New to Norwegian. Looking at an SE suite. Six are available. They have 10500, 10000, 9500, 9502, 9000, and 9002.

Which would you pick?

Thank you!

We would pick 10000 or 10500 due to the larger space and wonderful viewing from the windows in the bump out section. The balcony is a little smaller but is still a good size and provides both sun and shade areas. As in all of the forward facing penthouses you'll need to either keep the drapes closed at night or the lights off so reflecting light does not disturb view from the Bridge. We have Jade 10500 booked in April and are very excited about it.

We were in Pearl 9500 for our 40th anniversary cruise and saw 10000 on our cabin crawl. We much prefer the larger stateroom space with more light from the windows for staterooms 10000/10500 compared to the larger balcony but smaller stateroom size of 9500.

Here is an 2011 youtube video of Dawn 10000. You may have to copy and paste link into your browser.

Here is a 2013 youtube video of Star 10500.

Here is link to a Flicker album that shows a lot of photos of Gem 10500 .... many balcony shots.

What are your priorities. The Deck 9 cabins have very large balconies (100 sq ft+) which we loved on an Alaskan Cruise in cabin 9500. The balcony walls at the rails are low giving you the opportunity (if you want) to talk with your neighbors, or 1 step back, you are in total privacy.

I think that someone has pointed out that the Deck 10 center rooms have extra space due to a "bay window" which conforms with the bump out on the bridge. The room is bigger, but it basically takes away the balcony space there. We had 10000 on the Dawn on a NE cruise from Boston to Quebec. We simply loved being outside (a little windy and cold) cruising up the St. Lawrence river.

If we had to pick, we would choose 10000 (center deck 10). for the extra room space and having the bay window where you can stand out of the wind and watch the 180 degree forward facing views.

BTW: Forward facing cabins are our favorite
