Need help with cabin location on Veendam

Hi,

I'm in cabin A137 on the Veendam. It looks like I'm over the Ocean Bar. I was wondering if anyone knows what the noise level will be. My other room option was A132. Not sure if I should switch from 137 to 132 Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was in A 140 (2 away from 132) recently. The cabin was very quiet.

I don’t think noise would be a problem in either location.

We were over the Ocean Bar on the Maasdam, her sister ship. It was an intolerable amount of noise. We were lucky enough to get a cabin change, but only because a booked passenger did not show up. Otherwise it would have been a perfectly awful 18 day cruise. This cabin should not be sold. And it was the last time we ever risked getting a "gauranty" cabin again.

Oh no. I sail next Wednesday and the Vista Suite category is sold out according to their website so it looks like I'm stuck in the that room. When I board I'll see if there is another room available.

We are considering taking a Canada and NE cruise in August on the Veendam. We are looking at BA Vista suites number 215 and 218. Will these be quiet cabins? they are aft and someone told me they are under the pool and exercise area so we are concerned about noise......any thoughts? Thank you.....
