Veendam Promenade deck question

Not all cabins under the galley are excessively noisy. We have had 394 on both the Ryndam and Statendam, and 404 on the Maasdam. We certainly would not have chosen that area a second or third time if noise had been a big problem! However, we had 3385 on the Amsterdam and that was noisy at night, so it's probably best to avoid being under the galley if you are a light sleeper.

Cabins under the galley will not necessarily make you "miserable" or "ruin your cruise". However, if you want to be on the Lower Promenade deck for for quick access to the promenade I suggest under the MDR. The few hours that you might hear some footsteps you are either at dinner or entertainment yourself.
