Miami to ft. Lauderdale Airport

What is the best way to get from cruise disembarcation in Miami to Ft. Lauderdale? How long does it take? Ship arrives at 8:00. Flight is at 2:00.

We booked the cruise line transfer bus (RCCL) - left Port Everglades at 10 am and were at the terminal round 11 am - sufficient time for a 2 pm departure.

Uber. You can reserve a pick up time at the POM to FLL. Takes about 45 minutes.

OP is asking from POM to FLL.

We used S.A.S Transportation in both 2016 and 2017.

I will qualify my comments from personal experience to say it is faster and more personalized than a cruise line sponsored bus, but certainly more pp than that option or other shared ride, but less than a taxi, limo, or other similar hired car. :)

I found Uber to be the fastest and least expensive way to get to FLL from the Miami port. I did not reserve the Uber ahead of time. I booked it when I got outside of the port area with my luggage. The entire drive took around 30 minutes. I was at the airport at 8:15 am. Our ship starting letting people leave at 7:30 am. We carried our luggage off of the ship ourselves.
