Carnival Casino Offer (Bounce back) while another cruise is booked

Hello again!

I have one more question. I am planning to book our family cruise in May and take advantage of a bounce back offer I just got for a cruise in Feb.

Will I be able to get another bounce back offer on my Feb cruise while I have another cruise booked? My May cruise is sort of through the casino in that it will be one of the blackjack tourneys.

Thanks

I'm answering this based on Carnival Cruise Line: I have heard responses on this topic in both directions. Some have yes they have received a BB offer with another one booked. Some have said you wont get an offer if you have another one booked . I asked a casino host once why based on my points I didn't get one and she asked if I had another cruise booked, I did at the time and she said that might have something to do with it but she didn't say that was the only reason. I'm sure if you search on here you will find many post to support both sides.

Yes, they have changed that rule, You should get a bounceback even if you have a future one booked. And the premiere offers we get now, you have to pay $400 or more a person, and will get $200 or more cash on the cruise. Bouncebacks are better.

My GF and I just got off of the Glory and both received bounce back offers from the casino. We have a cruise booked in March of which I have only paid the $600 deposit. With my offer, I can book the same cruise we are already going on for $1,600 cheaper. I'm about to call Carnival and see what they have to say, but I wanted to ask here first.

If they won't let me change, I can always cancel and lose my deposit which would still save me $1,000. I guess I do run the risk of Carnival pulling my bounce back offer. Has anyone done this before?

I'll answer my own question and maybe save some others money. I just called Carnival and they were able to use my casino offer for my cruise that was already booked. I saved $1608 and my GF and I each got a $100 onboard credit. Pretty good day. Maybe I need to head to the casino now.....:D

This just happened to me as well. I upgraded from a balcony to an ocean suite, and saved about $950, and gained a $200 onboard credit. However,I do think it matters what fare code you originally booked under. Mine allowed for price matching.

I just finished a 7 day on the Magic.I had 2700 points. Are there any chances of me getting a bounce back offer?

You would have gotten it while you were still on the ship. However you may receive other casino offers by mail, email, and/or your VIFP account.
