Rare little britain Posted June 19, 2018 Author #84 Share Posted June 19, 2018 While I remember it - the hours for the Park Cafe in the Solarium varied quite a bit so always check before going there. Very strict about not allowing people carrying coffee off the ship. We witnessed quite a few hissy fits because they couldn't take their coffees....;-)
RedDevil Posted June 19, 2018 #85 Share Posted June 19, 2018 How was it for finding World Cup games being shown? We cruise in 10 days on a Caribbean itinerary, with the USA not qualifying a bit worried we might struggle to find the games on any channel on the ship. Was it shown in the pub, sports bar, or casino at all?

4us2cruise Posted June 21, 2018 #94 Share Posted June 21, 2018 I'm very thankful you posted your review link on the June 29th Roll call. You had fabulous weather! I'm hoping for the same. This will be our 3rd cruise to Alaska and we're still in search of bears. LOL
stlgasman Posted June 21, 2018 #95 Share Posted June 21, 2018 LOL, little britain, we were in 9258! Sounds like we did many of the same things. I do have some gripes. This was our 8th cruise. The food was by far the worst I have ever had on a cruise. This was our first time on this class of ship. It seemed that the Windjammer had inadequate seating. Cabin steward was very good. I think the Radiance had a refurbishment in spring of '16.

prodoc Posted June 22, 2018 #97 Share Posted June 22, 2018 Has anyone done the RCI northbound cruise along with the post cruisetour from Seward to Fairbanks? Would love to get some insights on the land portion of this vacation. We are unable to reserve our excursions for the land portion until we get off the ship. Would love to get some insights on the land portion of this vacation. We are unable to reserve our excursions for the land portion until we get off the ship. Penny Here is some more information about the tours - if yours run like ours, you will leave ship and go to hotel. At hotel, you will check in with RCI rep, and be told who your guide is. You will meet with your guide who will provide information about the tour, key times, luggage tags, optional excursions, etc. http://www.royalcaribbeancruisetours.com/resources/ In Denali, we did DogGoneIt tour as optional - highly recommend. Mike, Caitlin, and Max are amazing families, and the sled dog puppies are incredibly sweet. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
lpspck Posted June 24, 2018 #100 Share Posted June 24, 2018 Thanks so much for the terrific info and photos. I was looking through the Cruise Compass' for any info about disembarkation time at the final port. We are going northbound on the 29th. I've heard must be off ship by noon but RCI website gives 10-11am depending on cruise... I would have thought that info would be in the Compass? Not really important and I guess it could be up to the captain and crew but I'm just curious... Also, does anyone recommend leaving your luggage out the night before or can we/should we grab them and go in the morning?
