Take an extension cable with you and you can have as many as you want. I travel with a surge protected 8-ganger.

according to P&O they are prohibited items.

"Surge protected extension leads are not accepted in any circumstances as they interfere with the ship's electrical distribution."

Not allowed on all the ships we have sailed on, I take one with us but it's the Non surge type!!!....

I use the item with a CPAP machine and it has been inspected and approved by ships engineers / H&S officers on Ventura, Azura and Britannia on P&O as well as the Carnival Legend and 2 Princess ships. Seems like either inaccurate information by P&O or incompetent engineers on 6 ships. I doubt there are incompetent engineers on any ship!!!

If you read P&O's blurb then no extensions are allowed to be plugged in and used when the cabin is unoccupied or used overnight. I wouldn't be able to use my CPAP machine with the extension if it wasn't used overnight. I wonder how many people leave items on charge while they are out.

so what do you do if you have a cpap machine then

Well obviously I take it with me, sleep all day and walk the ship alone at night.

On occasion I have taken it with me, not used it and subsequently died.

I hope this answers your question.
