Any suggestions on what to do in Nassau ?

We also stay on the ship.....not our favorite port.

A day pass at British Colonial Hilton is a good option.

If this is your first time In Nassau, you may enjoy Atlantis.

I usually do not get off the ship.

Last year the weather was a bit cloudy so the great beach on Paradise Island was out. Instead we did our own walking tour to Queens Staircase and Fort Fincastle

We stay on the ship, but if you like to have a nice lunch go to Twin Brothers at the Fish Frye.

Another vote for staying on the ship.

We had kids with us so we went to Flamingo show at the zoo, then to Pirate Museum. Prices were reasonable and had fun.

My advice skip it and stay onboard.

Another vote for the zoo and the fort that is by it. Easy public transportation to get there.

I've done the walking tour before. Also have gone over to Atlantis.

No comment if I have been able to get into the Dig after the front person leaves for the evening.

You can also check the Ports of Call board for the Bahamas. I enjoy Atlantis, including the water park there, and dolphin swim. But I've also stayed on the ship in Nassau. If it's your first time there, I'd find something to do and see it once.

Did you really enjoy the zoo? We went there with our son about 4 years ago. The flamingo show was cute but that was the most pathetic zoo I have ever been to.

 

And it seemed like they didn’t take care of the animals very well. They had a leopard or some kind of a big cat (sorry I don’t remember what it was exactly) that had an open wound. Half of the exhibits were empty.

 

It was definitely not worth it to us. If we go there now, we stay on the ship.
