While looking for something else, stumbled upon Nieuw Statendam which is scheduled in Dubrovnik on December 2nd 2018, after visiting Venice and scheduled for

Civitavechia afterwards.

Some ports in and around Australia have schedules up and including as far as 2020, but only Noordam and Maasdam are reported in that area in December 2018 through February 2019, so no sign Nieuw Statendam is going there for the moment.

Not a very nice time of the year to start a cruise in Civitavecchia Jeroen for a Premier Cruise after the "shake down cruise from Venice to Civ. Hopefully the delivery date will be delayed like it was the case with the Koningsdam ! :D

I don't think the Med at that time of year would be very nice. And as stated not for a shake down cruise. They'll still be working the bugs out. Other then having the privilege of saying that you were on the shake down cruise I'd stay off any ships first cruise. Just my thoughts.

It appears that Nieuw Statendam will sail from Venice on 12/1, call Dubrovnik on 12/2, call Civitavecchia on 12/4, call Malaga on 12/7, call Funchal on 12/10, and arrive Port Everglades on 12/18, completing her maiden transatlantic passage.:)

The current issue of Cruise Industry News in an article on Itinerary Planning for HAL does not provide such clarity of an itinerary from the Seattle Itinerary Planning executive whom they interviewed.

The Funchal port authority shows a berth reservation for Nieuw Statendam for Dec 10 with prior port Malaga and next port Port Everglades. Combining this with the reported Dubrovnik Dec 2 berth reservation earlier in this thread with prior port Venice and next port Civitavecchia reveals the basic nature of the planned itinerary. The other dates are educated guesses of course. Also, all is subject to change based on Fincantieri delivery schedule.:)
