Celebrity Summit on the way to NOLA

I noticed Summit is on the way to NOLA. Is this something that occurs often? I thought this shipped was based out of Puerto Rico.

I believe Summit is on a charter right now. They moved her to Port Everglades for a large chunk of the winter and chartered her out. With a charter, the company may set up a different set of ports based on what the chartering company desires.

Blues Cruise perhaps?

Fat Tuesday is a week from tomorrow so she may be sailing towards New Orleans to take part in some of the Mardi Gras festivities. Even if the ship isn't docked on Fat Tuesday, there are lots of activities in NOLA for the weeks leading up to Mardi Gras.
