Drink Package question

We booked a balcony with the Fantasia package which means we get 12 drink vouchers.

 

My question is can my husband add the drink package to our plan and me not?

 

My husband has 4-6 drinks a day while I drink 1-3 a day while cruising. I thought maybe he could add the package than give me his drink vouchers.

 

Would that work?

 

We are on the new MSC Seaside. It will be our first MSC cruise.
