Just noticed that Savannah is now a Regent gateway; Savannah??? Austin makes a lot more sense. In 2017, Savannah had a total of 2.46 million emplacements/deplanements. In 2017 Austin had a total of 13.89 million emplacements/deplanements. Now which one should be a gateway??

I also vote for Austin! Guess it is too close to DFW?

Not as close as WPI is to FLL or FLL to MIA. I think SAV might be closer to ATL. And, then there are LGA, EWR, and JFK all as gateways.

Next thing is you will want a direct flight to SYD from Austin.

Why didn't I think of that! :D Of course, the return AKL - AUS would be even sweeter.
