Carnival's terminal to Avis car rental ?

We return on Carnival Imagination on a Thursday morning, we would like to

rent a car for the day from Long Beach, and return that evening at LAX.

It looks like Avis will be the least expensive for us.

What is the best way to get to Avis- 2165 Long Beach Blvd ?

There will be 9 of us, and we are renting 2 cars.

Is there a shuttle from Avis at Carnival Terminal ?

Could take the free Passport Bus to the Long Beach Transit Center. The bus won’t be able to handle all of you but the drivers could go there then swing back to pick everyone up.

I would call the local Avis number in Long Beach to see if they will pick you up at the cruise port. They do not have a regular route with a free shuttle.

IF they don't pick you up then you'd need to either take a taxi or uber/lyft to get there. Taxi into downtown Long Beach is about $10.
