According to the link in the following, it matches to 'Gold':

Here's a link to the MSC page with the list of benefits for the different tiers:

Thats correct, we received that

I would not match to anything else than Black and wait for later chances to match. The benefits for silver and gold are so limitied.

Alternatively, you could book MSC cruises and earn points to achieve Black status...

But one wouldn't know unless one asked .

I've never been on MSC before, and someone told me you get similar benefits, that's all.

Have you checked out the 'Gold' benefits from the link I posted, and, if so, are they similar?

Hi there.

Yes, the gold benefits are very similar.

Thank you for your help and interest in my enquiries.

You are full of great info [emoji4]

Regarding some of the suggestions posed already, if you're close to a level with another cruise company which matches to Black, it might be worth your while waiting to attain that level elsewhere as it's a long way from Gold to Black, so you would have to do a lot of sailing with MSC before you attain that level, whereas you may not have to sail quite so often with the other line before you would qualify to match to Black. (Hope that makes sense )

This is our first MSC cruise. Believe it or not, I'll only be 14 points away from diamond by the time I go on preziosa . The crown & anchor thing was only a " cruise booking " question asked by my travel agent when I booked in April this year. And I and my partner have gone up a tier since we booked.

From zero to Gold it is 4300 points, from Gold to Black it is 5700 points. That also makes clear why Classic offers nothing, Silver almost nothing and Gold a tiny little bit

But if everything is going well I will reach Black in 2025
