No you need to upgrade to deluxe for premium drinks.

I'll just add that upgrading from the included Classic package to the Deluxe (premium) package is great value on Seaside, IMHO. It's only $8 pppd and includes room service drinks and food menu items (except pizza), in-cabin mini-bar (which is replenished every day), items in Venchi and better quality wines, as well as higher-end spirits/liquors. In fact, everything on the drinks menus, including items with one asterisk. Items with 2 asterisks aren't included in any packages; Classic only covers items with no asterisks. Nop but I upgraded 56$ pp no problem (7 days cruise()

Just tried to get the upgrade and was quoted 356 for the cabin.

How many are in the cabin and how long is the cruise? Also, where are you booking from? You haven't provided enough information.

There are 2 of us for 7 day Caribbean cruise. We booked a grand suite with an aurea package

You need to contact MSC again, so, as you've been misquoted for the upgrade. The price for the Classic package is $47 and the Deluxe is $55 - a difference of $8. The quote you received is not even divisible by 14 (2 people x 7 nights).

If the figure was, in fact, $364, then whoever you spoke with is confusing your included 'Classic' package with the promotional 'Drinks on US' package, as that's the cost to upgrade to Deluxe from it.

You should contact them again and explain that your Aurea booking includes 'Classic' and not 'Drinks on Us'. The upgrade (on US sailings) is well worth the $112 it costs for all the extras that comes with it, IMHO.

Called back again. Got the 8.00 pp/ day upgrade. Thanks everyone

Thanks. The charge shows on my credit card but it is still not reflected on the MSC website under purchases. Will have to wait and see
