IAH to Galveston

You could stay near IAH, at a hotel with a free shuttle, & take Carnival's shuttle from the airport the next day. You could also take a private shuttle like Galveston Express which is less expensive than Carnival.

We just got back Sunday the 1st. We used VIP Express. Couldn't have been better. Price was good, Emanuel was great. We stayed at the Springhill Suites the night before. He called me at home Friday, again Saturday at the hotel to see if we made it and again Sunday morning when he was on the way.

We were the only ones on his super van. Clean, new, very nice. We stopped at Bucky's on the way to get sodas. Took us thru town and pointed out the various stadiums and landmarks. Got to port in plenty of time. He told us where to meet on debark, just outside the terminal.

On debark he called to see if we were getting off ship. We got held up at a random check at customs, so we weren't off. No problem, he went to drop off at Royal and came back. We met at the parking lot just outside "H".

On the way back we had a 1:30 flight and he asked if we wanted to swing in NASA. We went in and just drove around the entrance. He stopped and we got out to take pictures of the shuttle sitting on the 747. Back to the airport in plenty of time. Super great service.

How much did they charge? We are a family of 4 hoping to find a way to get from IAH to the port the day before.

We did exactly this. We flew into IAH the day before, took a free shuttle to hotel near airport. Got the shuttle back to IAH and used Galveston Limo. Very dependable, safe and reliable. They do this for a living so they were able to answer pretty much all questions we had. Very personable driver too. We used them to get back to the airport after we had a delayed docking due to fog. Very common in Galveston. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
