You will get a credit on your account if the substitute ports have lower port fees.

I read that they would place the difference on your sail and sign card and contact us by email. My agent said that there would be a small difference in our favor due to diminished port charges

Just spoke with Carnival tonight and they said an on-board credit would be issued for port fee differences and fuel surcharge.

I have not received a message yet, but on my cruise documents, I have a few more dollars on my sail and sign card
