Could someone please tell me if there is an alarm clock in the inside cabins on Discovery 2?

No. Actually we have never had a clock in any cabin we have had - always take a travel alarm with us.

On the older Thomson ships you could always set the cabin phone to give you an alarm call. Wonder if the newer ships are the same?

Or ask reception to call you which we do - don't know about Discoveries yet though

I've never seen a clock in a cabin on any of the three lines we've been with - perhaps the hassle of changing times forwards and backwards as the ship sails through different time zones is the reason ?

We take a alarm clock with us as we turn our mobiles off in case it connects and we get roaming charges. It is a must as we have no idea of the time when we wake up.

K8ti you can turning roaming off in settings which we always do especially in the Caribbean Then you can use the time on your phone but beware sometimes it takes a while to catch up with ships time if you are cruising where there are a number if time changes but not a problem if there are none
