Nassau Water Taxi to Paradise Island

The reviews on Trip Advisor are very mixed. Some people love them and others imply they are dangerous and the operators are nasty. Any opinions here. We will be there in a couple of weeks.

Take a land taxi !!

You wait in the heat untill the boat is full while you breathe in diesel fumes. Plus they tell you that expect tips. The good is the beautiful view.

I enjoyed the water taxi - not dangerous at all. as was said above, great views

The only reason I was going to go was for the views. Do not need the transportation. However, if it is going to be a headache, will do something else.

It's fun to try once, if you're not in a hurry. I wouldn't bother with it again.

Our wait was long and the fumes were nasty on the water taxi. But the water view was nice and the crew did give a nice overview of the sites. I wouldn’t do the water taxi again but glad I did it once.

I have taken the water taxi multiple times and enjoyed it. The views are great and we found the narration interesting and humorous and worth a couple of dollars tip.

It was good once. Nice views, humorous staff. We did have to wait almost 30 minutes for it to fill up. Also, it is a pretty long walk from where it lets you out on Paradise Island to Atlantis. If you are going to do it, plan on taking a land taxi back because as I said I thought it was worth doing once but not worth the time to do it twice.
