Carnival price drops

Can anyone explain to me how the price drops work? We have already paid the balance for our cruise in October. I have been checking prices and there had been no change until today. Prices have lowered.. We are on upper level, aft. And a Florida resident rate.

You only qualify at this point if you booked Early Saver..

Yeah with a cruise scheduled for next month, it's definitely past final payment date. Therefore only early saver would be eligible for a price drop adjustment. Sorry, not good news I'm sure.

If you booked early saver you can submit the form and you will get OBC.

You can call and ask for a reduction or a move to a better cabin, all they can do is say no. I'm Platinum and was able to get upgraded after final payment to an extended balcony on a higher deck.

Yeah all payments have been made. The level we are on is no longer available. Sold out I guess. But the prices for Florida resident went down. And no we did not book with early saver.

Rates went down on my trip as well today (cruise in 11 days) so we moved to a higher deck (were on Upper moved to Empress under dining room)!
