We have two TA cruises booked in 2018

Koningsdam Ft Lauderdale to Rome in March

Koningsdam Rome to Ft Lauderdale in October

We heard flights would be better if we had tickets both ways

When we were doing ta Miami to Barcelona April 2016 and the return ta Barcelona to Tampa October 2016 we found that for our flights to/from El Paso TX an international roundtrip ticket was significantly cheaper than two one-way tickets.

We used SW one way air for the domestic flights ELP-MIA and TPA-ELP but for international from/to Barcelona we bought roundtrip: Barcelona-ELP in April, with October return ELP-Barcelona.

Compare one-way vs roundtrip prices and be creative.

Liz, I would also post this on the Cruise Air Board where there are a lot of knowledgeable people who can give you advice on this.
