The Oosterdam will receive an additional refit and revisions at the Grand Bahama Shipyard in the spring of 2018 before embarking on a series of cruise programs that will offer itineraries in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Alaska.

I just googled USA Today and then did a search for Holland America Oosterdam - it takes you to a tour and the last slide (there are many) where it says "The Oosterdam will receive an additional refit . . . "

I wonder what the refits are - besides the revamping of the shops?

When we were last on the Oosterdam - 2016- we met two designers who were onboard looking at improvements . In particular they were looking at the non suite cabins. Perhaps this will be part of the retrofit.

I only saw a picture of the Oosterdam.

Guess we will have to wait for people to cruise on her when she comes out of dry dock in a couple of weeks to see what all was done to her.

Yes, you're absolutely correct. They're likely going to do to the Oosterdam what's been done to others, putting the EXC area up there, moving the Explorations Cafe to the bar area, etc. Sigh.

Please, if you can, take photos to post here; I'd love to see what we're going to expect in October.

we are going to be sailing on the Oosterdam in October as well and for 45 days so we would be very curious to hear or see any new enhancements.
