I broke down the cheapest ways to get from LAX to Long Beach, the best option is either Super Shuttle or Primetime but if you're staying at an LAX area hotel there's a trick you can do to keep the cost down

The CHEAPEST way?!? WALK! Yeah...it may take you 8 to 10 hours...maybe a little more depending on how much luggage you're schlepping...but, hey, it is absolutely FREE....and THAT is pretty much as CHEAP as you can get...

Seriously, though...

You've spent a lot of money flying in from wherever you live...and quite a bit more on that cruise...probably will spend more on shore excursions, bar bill, shopping, maybe a spa treatment and some gambling in the casino....................and you are looking for ways to save some minuscule amount of money on your ride to the pier?

Time and convenience is worth something, isn't it? So, this guy on the video wants to stay in an LAX area hotel and take shuttles back and forth to the airport so he can waste more time there waiting on the next shuttle--one that's going to circle the airport until it fills up? All so he can save enough money for a couple of coffees and croissants while he waits at the airport for the next shuttle? And deals with his luggage and carry-ons and whatever...

Maybe someone should tell him to NOT stay at LAX? If he is getting in the day before, just get a shuttle (or other transportation) straight down to Long Beach and spend that night there...and not deal with the back-and-forth to LAX...Or, just for this guy, because he's SO cheap, maybe rather than spending the $$ for that LAX hotel, he can find a really cheap hotel...I am sure he can find one in Compton or South Central that will save him more money...or, for really cheap, there's a bunch of people "camping out" in the Century Blvd. underpass to the 405...

Okay, getting completely real here...Yes, if you have lots of time...and you don't mind circling the airport while the driver looks to pick up others...or possibly making other stops on your way to the pier, yes, one of the shuttle companies will LIKELY be your least expensive bet--$32...maybe...UberX, depending on certain factors could be about $31-40--pretty much right in the same ballpark as the shared shuttle. Don't trust Uber? Execucar by Supershuttle gives you your own (not shared) ride for $61. But, when choosing, consider what a $10 or $30 difference means to YOU in terms of convenience, comfort and time...

But, if you really think COST is the only factor that matters...be my guest, go ahead and WALK!

Sounds like an ad. He didn’t do his homework.

Cheapest way (besides walking) would be the Flyaway Bus to Long Beach ($8) then hopping in the free Long Beach Passport bus. Might even be quicker than the Shared Shuttle Tour of LA.
