Cabin differences

Not totally familiar, but amenities in the bathroom are spa amenities; and on many ships (not Koningsdam) the "veranda" is the promenade deck with your own reserved deck chairs.

You're describing lanai cabins. I'm not sure that there are any lanai spa cabins.

Spa cabins are usually near the spa, and on some ships the balcony is less deep. Hal facts website has photos of a spa veranda and a regular veranda on K'dam and the spa veranda does look smaller (less deep).

Thanks. Good answer. Funny, that they never note this when booking. Hopefully not too much smaller. Will find out next week.

Is there any difference between a Veranda Spa cabin and a regular veranda cabin besides location? Koningsdam.

On the Holland America home page select Onboard, then Suites & Staterooms, scroll down and select room types to see the list of amenities (link below, hope it works directly). One difference from that list is that in a VT Spa stateroom on the Eurodam, the room also had a Bose mini Soundlink II bluetooth music player. You can expect what is in the web page, but it may have something extra.

Based on the description the rooms are exactly the same. Thanks.

The HAL section for ONBOARD info is inconsistent. Most ship descriptions do not mention the extra items in a Spa room. But Veendam does list some. The Bose music player, a yoga mat and some sort of coupon for Spa treatments. On the Eurodam, they also included three bottles of vitamin and mineral water gratis. As you said, a Spa room differs only in location and amenities, some listed, some a nice surprise.
