Site not compatible with Apple device

This morning, I accessed my account from site on my iPad. When I went to cruise planner to check our additions (Wi-Fi and drinks), it locked me out. Called Celebrity and was told that their website is not compatible with Apple devices. How bizarre. I do have a Microsoft tablet but really find this incredible. Did I understand the rep correctly?

I called yesterday because I couldn't get into reservations for shore excursions. She told me the same thing. When I explained it was never a problem with my Ipad in the past, she told me that was "highly unusual" because their site does not work with Apple products.[emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]

A few days ago they made a software change and I cannot get into cruise planner for my reservation on my iPad. I can get into the reservation, but when I click “manage reservation” I get thrown back to the main page.

It work on my MacBook. I assume it will mysteriously disappear soon just as it mysteriously appeared.

That is exactly what happened to me! I have cruised Celebrity with iPhone and iPad with no issues. I’ve called again and been told again that their site is not compatible with Apple devices (I can see our booked cruises - just not cruise planner for them).

Thank you everyone for the replies. I appreciate how helpful this forum always is!

I have also been trying to get on the Cruise Planner on my iPad and each time was unsuccessful. So I tried it on DHs HP and had no problem. [emoji51]

I am unable to mange my reervation with my iPad. It throws me right back to the front page of the website.

Trying to purchase shore excursions and can not access anything.

It also locked me out with an error message.

Same problem here all of a sudden on my iPad but if I select Menu (top left), Cruise Planner and then Find Your Reservation ( don't log in using your User Name or you will have the same problem) it works. Kinda a pain with multiple booking but.....it worked.

And it is ironic they have a problem with Apple products

I'm so glad someone asked this - I thought there was something wrong with my iPad! Ironic since they have those Apple specialists on board (at least according to the website that I can only access on my computer (a MacBook), I haven't sailed yet. :)

If that portion of the website runs with Flash or Java, it is correct that it would not run on iOS (iPad or iPhone). It’s not necessarily a website problem. iOS does not support it.

This makes sense. Apple is quick to abandon ['deprecate' is their term] dying technologies, while Celebrity's IT is still powered by coal gas [and the UK office probably by peat ]
