Yes, runs over bathtub. We used it to dry swimsuits and "not quite dry" items from the dryer on our cruise last month.

There is one in the tub. If you've not seen the movie "Final Destination"(the first one)those little retractable clothes lines can be a real nuisance!

I was in a deck 12 Oceania Suite on the sister ship Marina last month, and there was no drying line in either bathroom.

The built in drying lines only work in tubs which sit between two walls. In the OVO Suites, where the tubs are freestanding, the Butler brings in a drying rack. ;)

I never thought to ask. The new laundry amenity was fantastic, and for small things I just draped them on the edge of the tub.

Well, at least the next person will know!

On my last cruise, first as a single, I didn't pack clothespins. A mistake.

Have problem with left shoulder.

Might have been ok if tub had faced opposite way.

In our Marina Oceania suite,we were not offered a drying rack despite not having a line and the launderettes were shut for most of the 18 night cruise.We were told not to put clothes on the balcony at any time.

Became a nightmare in muggy wet Polynesia!

Is there a clothes line in an ocean view shower stall on the Insignia?
